Return & Refund Policy

At ESPUMA Apothecary, each product is handcrafted in small batches with care. Because our items are personal care products, we have specific guidelines to protect both our customers and the integrity of our products.


🧴 All Sales Are Final (Soaps & Body Care)

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, all sales of soaps and body care products are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been placed and shipped.

Please review product descriptions, ingredient lists, and quantities carefully before completing your purchase. If you have any questions before ordering, you’re always welcome to contact us at espumapothecary@gmail.com.


📦 Damages & Issues

We want you to be happy with your order.
Please inspect your package as soon as it arrives and contact us within 7 days of delivery if:

  • Your item arrived damaged

  • Your item is defective

  • You received the wrong item

Email us at espumapothecary@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

We’ll review your request and, if approved, we may offer:

  • A replacement, or

  • Store credit

Refunds to the original payment method are only issued in limited cases where a replacement or credit is not possible.


🚫 Non-returnable Items

For clarity, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Soaps and all body care products (used or unused)

  • Any opened or used personal care item

  • Sale/discounted items

  • Gift cards

If you’re unsure whether an item is eligible, please email us before ordering.


🔁 Exchanges

We do not process direct product-for-product exchanges.
If a resolution is approved (for example, a damaged or incorrect item), we will guide you through either receiving a replacement or store credit toward a future order.


💰 Refunds (When Applicable)

If a refund is approved:

  • We’ll notify you by email once your return or claim has been reviewed.

  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Banks and credit card companies may take several business days to process and post the refund.

If it has been more than 15 business days since we confirmed your refund and you have not seen it reflected, please contact us at espumapothecary@gmail.com.


🌿 Ingredients & Allergens

Our products are formulated with high-quality oils, butters, clays, and botanicals. Every skin is different, and reactions can vary.

Please note:

  • Full ingredient lists are available on each product page.

  • Some products may contain essential oils, nut-derived ingredients, botanicals, or natural colorants.

  • If you have allergies or sensitive skin, carefully review ingredients before purchasing.

  • We recommend performing a patch test before using any new product on a larger area of skin.
